Epic Games has thankfully decided to throw us a few curve balls to make things interesting for week 3. As always, you’ll want to grind through the challenges to upgrade your Battle Pass tier by tier to get more of the season 6 loot.
Here they are:
Revive a player in different matches (0/5)
Stage 1: Search a chest in Lonely Lodge (0/1)
Damage Trap eliminations (0/1)
Stage 1: Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods in the same match (0/1)
Hit a player with a Tomato 15m away or more (0/1)
Complete timed trials (HARD)(0/3)
Eliminate opponents in different matches (0/10)
Reviving a player in different matches is easiest to do in 50v50, though if you prefer you can also do it in duos or squads if that’s more your style. After that there’s another multi-stage chest hunt starting at Lonely Lodge, which is always pretty easy.
Players hate this challenge for the most part, but Epic makes sure to throw it in every year all the same. Traps have been kind of re-buffed lately, so that’s good at least, but trying to get a trap kill is often maddening for players who have to rely on blind luck to get one (please, please walk in that doorway) or elaborate outplays like quickbuilding trap rooms. Good luck.
After that we have a new kind of multi-stage quest which has you visiting different adjacent areas in a match, which should not be difficult and is a bit dull if you ask me.
The Tomato is a rank 28 battle pass toy that you’re going to have to hit someone with from 15m away. Keep in mind it does not say an enemy player, so I believe you’ll be able to do this with people on your own team, which will make this pretty easy if you can convince them to stand still and your aim is true.
Timed Trials are back, and while we’re still hunting all of them down, we have a guide for that which you can reference to see where they are and how to do them.
And then finally you have to eliminate opponents in different matches, ten times. Given that the Skull Trooper back bling challenges requires you to do this 14 times, you can actually make these overlap quite easily.
I am a little bummed about this week’s challenges, not just because of the trap kill one, but because I wrote an entire article about ringing doorbells for trick or treating on the Fortnite map. Guess I’ll have to use that as Halloween gets closer, and in hindsight, I guess it probably was too early for that yet.
Good luck with these challenges, and I will be hunting for that hidden battle star soon, so stay tuned for that.
